We've added a new effect layer to Chromatic Edges called Emulsion Lift. Traditionally an emulsion lift, or photo transfer, happens when instant photos are soaked in water to remove the film (emulsion) from the paper backing. Once the emulsion is removed, it can be lifted and affixed to another surface—crinkles and all—for a fluid or tissue like appearance. This, now automated effect, inspired by a photographic oddity, can create a powerful and unique work of art.

The new Emulsion Lift effect layer can be found in Chromatic Edges by going to the Layers menu. When the Emulsion Lift layer is added it auto applies the effect to all edges, textures and adjustment layers below it.
