Rainy Daze - Mac Info

The Rainy Daze photo app comes loaded with three powerful styles, Romantic Rain, Rain Shower, and Vintage Rain. Each unique style applies an advanced tonal technique to your photos to give the feel of a rainy day. Rain Shower slightly darkens the scene for an appearance of an overcast day, Romantic Rain brings a soft romantic glow and Vintage gives a toned, aged appearance. You can dynamically adjust the rain from a light drizzle to a heavy shower, change the angle of the rain, and change the length of the rain from short drops to long streaks

Rain Tab

Rain Color Strength: This slider increases the rain color when moved right. Click on the color box to choose the rain color from the color picker. (Not available when a Vintage Rain Style Preset is selected.)

Strength: The rain opacity will increase when the slider is moved right. Move the slider left to create a light drizzle.

Rain Thickness: Move this slider right to add more drops to the scene.

Rain Length: To make the drops long and streaky increase the slider right.

Rain Direction: Use this slider to rotate the rain drops right, left or straight down with several variations in between.

Rain Fade: Move this slider right to bring the rain closer to the ground.

 

Adjust Tab

Tone: Change the color tone by moving the slider right to increase tone amount or moving left to add the original color back into the image. Use the color box to choose a custom color.

Saturation: Move this slider right to add more of the original color back into the scene.

Darken Scene: Adds a dark rainy day feel to your picture

Contrast: Deepens the dark areas in the scene.

Romantic Strength: Adds a soft romantic feel to your picture (Only appears when a Romantic Rain Style Preset is selected)

Vignette Strength: Shades off the edges with the selected color. Use the color box to choose a custom color.

Vintage Templates: Choose from our vintage effect presets which adds a old-fashioned look to the picture (Only Available when a Vintage Rain Style Preset is selected)

 

Clouds Tab

Cloud Strength: Adjusts the opacity of the clouds. |

Cloud Thumbnails: Click on these to change the clouds styles.

 

ERASE RAIN & RESTORE - BRUSHES

Get Photo: Loads a photo from your desktop or hard drive.

Erase Rain: Brushes off rain in unwanted areas.

Restore: Brushes the removed rain back on.

Brush Size: Changes the brush diameter of the "Erase Rain and Restore" brushes.

Brush Strength: Changes the opacity of both brushes. If you want to lighten the rain in areas like a persons face, move the slider left then erase without removing the rain completely. This works for the restore brush as well.

Reset Brush: You can find a "Reset Brush" option in the file menu that will restore the rainy scene to how is was before you started brushing on or off the rain. This is a good way to start the brushing process over without effecting your settings.

 

Random and Original Buttons

Random Button: Randomizes the Rain effect on the image

Original Button: Hold down to view the original image for a quick comparison

 

File Menu

Get Photo: Loads a photo from your desktop or hard drive.

Save Photo: Saves the image to your desktop or hard drive.

Reset Brush: Resets the brushed off rain and fills in the places brushed off.

Save Preset: Once you've created a rainy scene you can use this option to save the attributes and reuse them on another picture.

Rain Showers

The default preset, the best preset to start with when creating your own rainy day effect


Vintage Rain

Adds a new Vintage Slider in the Adjust Tab giving you the option to choose from our vintage effect presets which adds a old-fashioned look to the picture

Romantic Rain

Adds a Romantic Slider to the Adjust Tab which adds a romantic feel to your picture
