Vintage Scene - iPhone Info


Getting Started:

When you open the app you will be asked if you would like to get a photo from your Camera roll or to
take a photo with the built in camera

Buttons

On the iPhone and iTouch the buttons appear on the top and bottom of the image
















Adjust

The attributes of any preset can be adjusted to give it a customized look.

Normal/ Texture

Choosing Texture allows more texture to be seen through the image.
(Only available when a "Antique Photo" style preset is chosen.)

Image Age

Change the aging effect on the overlay and the border. Use the color box to pick a custom aging color.

Paper Age

Change the opacity of the aging effect on the overlay and border. Use the color box to pick a custom aging color. (Not available when a "Vintage Photo" style preset is selected.)

 

Fade Out

Blends the texture in a vignette fashion around your photo. Moving the slider right decreases the vignette to allow more of the image to be shown.

Image Strength

Changes the opacity of your image.

Texture Strength

Changes the opacity of the texture overlaying your image.

*These are located in the "Color" Tab when a "Vintage Scene"
syle preset is selected.*

 

Overlay Thumbnails

Choose a grungy texture to overlay your image. Change the Opacity in
the "Adjust" tab or "Color" tab if a "Vintage Scene" style preset is selected.

 

 

Background Color

Change the color of the background surrounding the border chosen below.

Border Thumbnails

Choose a border style to be placed below your image. Use the "Adjust"
tab (or "Color" tab if a "Vintage Scene" style preset is selected) to change how much of the border paper is shown.

 

 

Save

VintageScene creations can be saved in many ways by pressing the "Share" Button.

Save to Camera Roll

The VintageScene app is a professional tool, please allow extra time
when saving or emailing the photo when using the "High" setting. We
recommend using the high setting for high-resolution renderings required for printed materials. The low and medium settings are fast. Use these to digitally display your vintage creations.

Save Preset

A preset is a recording of all attributes used to create your vintage scene. When a preset is saved it can be found on the "VintageScene" preset menu. Presets can be used at a later date and will allow you to apply the saved effect to a new photo and modify it.

Print

Connects to a wireless printer to print your image.

Email

When email is chosen a rendering process begins. Depending on the resolutio and size: low, med or high will determine how long vintage takes to render.

Facebook

This will open up a Facebook login screen once logged in your photo will be automatically uploaded to Facebook.

Twitter

This will open up a Twitter login screen once logged in your photo will be automatically uploaded to Twitter.

Tumblr

This will open up a Tumblr login screen once logged in your photo will be automatically uploaded to Tumblr.

 

 

 

 

Change Style / Vintage Scene Presets

The "Style" button allows you to change the effect between "VintageScene", "Antique Photo"
and "Faded Time". When changing the style a menu with preset thumbnails will present itself.

Presets are predetermined attributes applied to your photo and can be modified later by going to
the "Adjust" button. To save a custom preset use the "Share" button then "Save Preset".



Saving and Deleting Presets

Once you have applied a preset and modified it using the adjust tab, you can save your own custom
preset by using the "Share" button on the main screen and choosing "Save Preset" off the menu.
To delete a preset, press down on the thumbnail and hold until a red "X" appears, then tap to delete it.

will determine how long your painting takes to render.


Resolution by default is set to low. Change the resolution to medium or high in "Settings"
found on the "Save" menu. IMPORTANT: Settings will not apply until you "Get Photo" again from the camera roll.
